The women’s 4s first game of the season!
A 1-1 away draw for the Women’s 4s against Aylesbury 4s with a mix of young and seasoned players. We welcomed 3 brand new juniors to their first adult hockey match, and they absolutely smashed it!

Both MK and Aylesbury had a good start, battling for possession of the ball in the first half. MK defended a few short corners successfully and worked to get the possession up the pitch. The first half ended 0-0 after a good effort from both teams.

The second half started a bit more intensely, with Aylesbury scoring about 10 minutes in. MK successfully defended a few more short corners, and gained ourselves a few attacking shorts. After a strong effort from MK and a few attempts on goal, Phoebe scored MK’s goal after some great play up the field by Surani and Abbey creating lots of triangle passes getting the ball through Aylesbury for Rachel to assist the goal.

Having some great defensive work from the back line stopping Aylesbury from scoring a second goal, MK held their ground dominating the second half to end of the game on a 1-1 draw.

Overall a fantastic team performance, and a great first game of the season!
