MKHC Monthly Lottery


Description
For the 2025/26 season we are running a monthly lottery. This lottery is open to anyone, inside and outside of MKHC.

Up to 50% of the takings from the lottery will be distributed to prize winners. The proceeds from the lottery will go to the non-commercial Community Amateur Sports Club Milton Keynes Hockey Club (The Pavilion, Newport Rd, Woughton on the Green, Woughton Sports Field, Milton Keynes MK6 3EA), to fund new equipment and events. Prizes may include cash prizes, hockey equipment, experiences and more.

A single non-refundable ticket costs £5, with a maximum of 5 tickets on offer per month (total of £25/month) per person. The lottery draw will take place on the 1st Friday of every month, with any tickets purchased within the previous month being counted.

Notifications to winners will come via email from zoe.emerland@outlook.com. The winners must claim their prize on or before 25th of each month, by contacting Zoe Emerland via email or WhatsApp message. Keep an eye on social media for the prizes on offer each month & winner announcements.

To take part
Participants must be 16 years of age and over to take part.

Members of MKHC can purchase tickets from the shop - MEMBERS TICKETS.

Individuals without MKHC membership can still take part by bank transfer following the below instructions:

  • Request club bank details from zoe.emerland@outlook.com
  • You will be provided with the club's bank details and asked to return with the following information:
    1. Name
    2. Email address (to contact a prize winner)
    3. Bank Transfer / Standing order reference (must include "MKHCLottery" and your name)
    4. Bank Transfer / Standing order date
  • Upon receipt of the above information and the payment for tickets you will receive a confirmation of entrance to the MKHC Lottery

Terms and Conditions
The Monthly Lottery is being coordinated by Zoe Emerland (Social Secretary - zoe.emerland@outlook.com - 9 Friary Grove, Milton Keynes, MK17 7FG).

By taking part in this Monthly Lottery you consent to your name being shown on social media and club messaging as a winner.

To run the draw a Lottery Registration has been approved by Milton Keynes Council. Records of the draws proceeds and costs will be reported to Milton Keynes Council, certified by two committee members.

Participants must be 16 years of age and over.

For those entering via Bank Transfer:
Any payments above £25 will be counted as a donation to MKHC, unless a refund is requested within 1 month of the payment. Payments must be made on or before the last day of each month, payments made after that date will be counted for the following month's draw. Payments must only be made if the information above is provided by email to zoe.emerland@outlook.com, to ensure payments are identifiable. Payments must include the correct payment reference including "MKHCLottery" and a NAME, otherwise the entry is invalid.

The details taken via email will only be used for purposes of contacting winners of the lottery by email and possibly to announce winners on social media. All personal data will deleted after each season. Please contact zoe.emerland@outlook.com if you have any queries.
