MK 4 - 1 Chiswick - a poem

There once was a team called MK
Hockey was they sport they did play
Last week they got beat
But they stayed upbeat
So today they won 4-1, horray!

To fortress MK Chiswick came
To challenge the 2s to a game
They were 8th in the table
So thought they were able
To win but they didn't. Shame!

The first half was a goalless affair
No goals and not too much flair
Toby did a quick chat
And said let's now change that
For the second half we must now prepare

At some point there was an attack
Kav stole the ball from the left back
He found Vaughn in the D
Who slipped it past the goalie
And the goal was scored by Jack

It wasn't that long til it was 2
Maroon pressed the team in blue
There was an attack
The ball fell to Jack
He wheeled away saying woohoo

Minutes later it was three
and Jack scored it with glee
It wasn't that hard
all three were from a yard
This time he said yippee

Next Lewis got in the act
The keeper just didn't react
He did a great flick
It whizzed off his stick
And into the net it cracked

There was still time for Chiswick to score
Thanks to defending that was poor
No clean sheet to be had
But let's not be sad
As the mighty MK bagged four!

So that that was the end of that
The performance was not flat
Mk climb the table
because they are quite able
But Kingy is still a twit
