Milton Keynes men's 2s zoomed back to winning ways with a 5-3 win away at Oxford Hawks 3s.

Milton Keynes men's 2s zoomed back to winning ways with a 5-3 win away at Oxford Hawks 3s.

The game went from 0-60mph with MK flying out of the traps.

Dave Breuilly sped down the wing and skidded to a halt in the D. The striker then slipped the ball into the path of Martin Kavanagh who slid the ball into an empty net.

Minutes later it was 2-0. Lewis Jobbling screeched down the wing like a Ferrari. The winger then passed the ball to Mark Sibson whose first touch was so bad the goalkeeper took pity on him and let it go through his legs at 2mph.

Oxford moved up a gear after this and managed to get a goal back. It was like an old Lada... really rubbish.

And just before the half time pit stop, it was 2-2. The less said about this goal the better.

After the break, MK decided to be better. They would turn from a clapped out old banger to a sleek Koenigsegg.

Paul King picked the ball up in his own half and put the pedal to the metal. With defenders seemingly worried about tackling such a fast moving target, the just let him run into the D where he cooly slid the ball past the keeper.

It was soon 4-2. Lewis Jobbling showed expert handling and controll as he jazzed past multiple defenders before lifting the ball over the on rushing keeper from an acute angle. Zoom zoom zoom!

Jack Luther decided he wanted to get in on the action. After holding the ball up like he was waiting at traffic lights, he was given the green light and smashed a backwhack into the bottom corner from the top of the D.

There was time for Oxford to get a well worked consolation goal, but it was too late and the match finished 5-3.
