Seventh heaven for Men's 2s as they demolish British Airways at home

Milton Keynes men's 2s smashed seven past British Airways in a crushing victory at home.

Both teams started brightly but only a few chances were created.

The home side eventually made the breakthrough in fortunate circumstances.
Russel Brazier was released down the line and drilled the ball across the face of goal, only for it to find its way into the back of the net courtesy of a BA foot.

Moments later MK doubled their lead. Skipper Dave Breuilly worked his way into the D and slammed the ball home from an acute angle.

Just before half time it was three. A hopeful long ball up the pitch was collected by Brazier who skinned two players and smashed the ball past the BA keeper who could only watch it fly in over his shoulder.

After the break the home side flew out of the traps and added a fourth and fifth in quick succession.

Firstly Eric Watkins was found at the back post to finish easily from close range and then Martin Kavanagh touched in a low cross from Toby King.

MK didn't let up and continued to search for more goals. They didn't have to wait long, with Breuilly bagging his second with a looping effort that snuck inside the post.

The home side weren't done yet and Watkins added a seventh and his second with a close range finish.

There was just time for BA to get a consolation goal. MK defender Paul King was adjudged to have fouled a BA striker and the umpire yellow carded him and awarded a flick, which was converted.

But that was the last action of the game and MK recorded their biggest win of the season so far and continued their unbeaten run.
