Ladies 4's Secure Their First League Win

With high hope’s and pure determination, MK Ladies 4’s travelled to St Neots out for a win this week!

MK started strong and took the lead thanks to Jo, using her new found YouTube skills, she placed the ball into the back of the goal from excellent positioning on the left post.

Our attacking line held strong and made sure the ball didn’t make it out of the opposition’s area for most of the first half. Only once did they make inroads into the defence and were awarded a short corner which they converted before half time.

After a quick break MK returned for the second half and battled hard with great passing play, moving the ball from side to side with constant communication. Sue even managed to venture up into the opponents 23 at some point, she returned back to defence quickly after realising the air was getting thin so high up!

The second goal came from Francesca after great teamwork up the field and sealed MK’s maiden win of the season!
