Better execution was the difference as Milton Keynes 3s heading to Tilsley Park for a late noon pushback against Abingdon 1s. Abingdon started strongly, forcing MK into a lot of rearguard action in the first half of the first half of the first half. Milton Keynes looked to go aggressively in the second half to try and overturn the 3-1 deficit, but over-zealousness cost them as a poor ball during an overload saw Abingdon counter in kind, outnumbering the MK defence by at least three players and who could do nothing to stop the ball being swept home. Abingdon again struck from a short corner with a well-executed routine put in by a deflection at the back post. The 5-1 scoreline was a bit harsh on MK, who definitely had the better of the first half of the second half of the second half and also the second half of the second half of the second half. A well-deserved consolation goal came when a diving Stuart Bull met a ball coming across the D, managing to pull it back for David McMillan to sweep home with a fine finish. that was the final goal as Abingdon ran out 5-2 winners.
