A storm and a hurricane!

Milton Keynes were on quite a roll as they lined up for the game with 15 of the finest specimens in North Bucks for the return fixture of the most epic game of the season so far. Having gone 0-2 down early, only to win 6-3, the swings of momentum in the game were absolutely mental.

Secret weapon Ian Cooper was feeling particularly "crazy", ahead of a romantic evening of small scale golf. Mad Dog Locke almost matched Coops for sheer insanity, while Crazy Frazy was ready for some downright bonkers hockey.

CoachLuke made a plan and Milton Keynes set about implementing it. After a nervous start, MK soon got into their flow and began passing the ball patiently across the back, with Pettefer and Northedge imperious in their control of possession. After a few chances went begging, finally a loose ball in the circle dropped to the most excited man in Christendom, who squealed with delight as he selected the appropriate club, swung it 3 times around his head, then knocked it into the corner.

Thames Valley police have been informed of a man still grinning and cackling maniacally in the Oakgrove area and are monitoring him to ensure this is in relation to the goal and nothing more sinister.

1-0 at half time.

At this point CoachLuke delivered some words of wisdom then, while Captain Ginge offered his own view, Stone scoped out the exits and pulled on his balaclava and hit the deck. A.White and T.Anderson, operating at a higher physical level than most, honestly discussed how the team would move forward. By the time they had mapped out how to conquer the Banbarians, Stone was gone, Anderson none the wiser.

Continued pressure from Ali, Mikey, Stephen and Leroy up top finally paid dividends, with still ignorant Anderson having his pass intercepted by an opposition foot to win a short corner.

Dodd looked around, tried to hide his glee that Myles had already had a go and Ginge wasn't on the pitch, then lined up for a flick. A low drag rebounded straight back to him, he ducked left then smashed in on the reverse.

2-0

Milton Keynes then entered a difficult phase of the game and were thrown into confusion by Stone's absence, with even the most mathematical of men flummoxed by there being only 3 men on the bench when the Mad Dog was released back into the wild after being caged for 2 minutes.

This cost them a goal.

2-1

Not for long. Dodd made a high interception almost immediately after the restart drove right then caned it into the far corner.

3-1

Milton Keynes closed out a frenetic last quarter to remain unbeaten in 6 games.

The team are hoping Luke Stone is tracked down before Wednesday.
