Well welcome back to one and all, the summer is almost over, the school term is fast approaching and of course that means another fantastic year of hockey is ahead of us all!

I do hope that everyone had the chance to enjoy both the champions trophy hockey at the Lea Valley and of course the most incredible performance of the ladies at the Olympics. We know that this will have inspired many of you and also hope that a lot of your friends who may not have tried hockey before are also now interested - bring them along we want as many people as possible to come and enjoy our sport!

Now onto the arrangements for the start of this season.

The season begins with the Club Day on 03/09, this sociable day is open to all ages and all abilities with the opportunity to come along and get involved. On the day there will be games and skill based challenges for you to test yourself against. The main event runs between 12 and 3 and it would be great to see as many of you down there and getting involved in the games as possible.

Sunday training will kick off 11/09; Woughton on the Green starting at 10 and finishing at 11:30. Our time is limited so please aim to have the children there for 9:50 to enable us to make the most of the available time.

As with last season we have entered all of the age groups into the competitive leagues and the match dates will be entered into Pitchero in due course. I would encourage you all to download the mobile application for Pitchero to make your lives easier! You can view match schedules, match day details, match reports, confirm availability and many many other useful things.
