This will kick off MKHC’s support for the Hockey Paper’s Watch Your 1s campaign to raise the profile of domestic hockey throughout the season.
1st teams to pay usual match fees please.

"7"-a-side Tournament
Between 2pm and 4pm there will be a intra club round robin competition.
Register from 12pm.
The size of the teams will be dependent on number of people attending, but expect them to be around 7 or 8 a side. Please bring your home (maroon shirts and socks) and away (white shirts and socks) kit.

£3 per player.

Barbecue
We’ll be firing up the barbie to serve food from around 12:30 so that you can enjoy the 1st team games alongside some food and drink! Food will be available for first team teas but is not included in the £3 tournament fees, please bring money for food (and some change!)
GF and veggie options will be available.

Cake Stall
Please all get your Great British Bake ON and bring your wares for our cake stall. If you can bake something for us but can’t come on the day.
Put your name and mobile number on any cake tins etc that you would like back.
Again, remember some pennies for tea and cake!!

The Hockey Store
Simon will be here with his van from the Hockey Store selling all sorts of equipment for both adults and juniors.

Opro MouthGuard Fitting
We have Opro coming to take impressions for custom fit mouthguards. Although you can just pop along and see them on the day, they would like as many people as possible to pre register for their gumshield on this link:

New Kit Try On
The new Adidas club kit will be available to try on, so you can figure out your size before you buy!

Surprises

Is the day suitable for juniors?
Juniors are very welcome to come along with a supervising adult. The tournament will not be suitable for juniors who have never played adult hockey before, but come along and support the 1s, have a burger and some cake, and buy some kit and get your gumshield fitted for the new season!!

Are new players welcome?
New players are very welcome to come along, share in the day, and find out more about MK Hockey Club. The tournament will not be suitable for those who have never played hockey before, but new to the area players and those with some experience of hockey are welcome to register. Please bring a white top and a maroon top and socks if you can.
