First up was a game against the stronger of 2 A&C teams, and MK quickly found themselves 1-0 down, but two great goal-line saves and tackling from Harry Young kept them in the game. A quick tweak at half time saw MK come back strongly to win the game with really well worked goals from captain Holly Jones and Charlotte Ivory.

The second game was against a weaker A&C team, but MK were able to play the ball around really well, with some great wing work from Holly and Lauren Palmer. A 5-1 win fairly reflected MK’s dominance.

The final game proved tricky, against a young but defensive St Alban’s team who threatened on the counter-attack, but two good finishes from Holly saw MK win out, after again showing some really good possession hockey and improved organisation.

Winning all three games meant that MK won the tournament, much to the delight of the whole team (and supporters!)
