The Samurai had their best game of the season with a hard-battled and well-deserved win against Leighton Buzzard 3s, who had been sitting second in the table at the start of the day. Well taken goals in the first 20 minutes by Luis and Jonny put MK ahead, and a gritty performance by the defence ensured it was a frustrating afternoon for the Leighton strikers. Zac, in goal, had surprisingly little to do but pulled off a couple of crucial saves when called upon. Matt Blythin put in a MOM performance - barking out orders in the middle of a well-organised defence. Both Alex and Ben made their senior debuts and looked confident and held their own against the opposition wingers. Josh even managed to remain calm and not get carded. All in all, an impressive victory.
