Aylesbury 3s 0-1 MK Ladies 3s

Milton Keynes Ladies 3s were ready for this away fixture today buoyed from their draw past week. They started the match strongly and were awarded with a short corner from the determination of Zoe Dawson. A strong fast injection from Georgia Marshall to Francesca Head saw the ball saved but MK kept going and was poked in by Megan Venturi to the delight of MK. This woke up Aylesbury who came at MK fast and furious but MK just soaked it all up despite numerous short corners against them.

In the second half MK suffered an onslaught but the defence were up to the task with pitch player Emma Kynaston padded up in goal kicking the ball confidently away and Ceci Carames sweeping the ball out and up the pitch. MK had few chances in the second half to add a further goal. The defence and mid supported by the forwards cleared the ball away time and time again to the frustration of Aylesbury. Final score 1-1.
