MK Ladies 3s started the league with an away fixture at Wallingford. Milton Keynes were punished for a slow start when they found themselves 3-0 down inside 10 minutes. A re organisation of positions seem to steady Milton Keynes and they pushed further up the pitch. This was rewarded by a goal from Lauren Clemas.
A stern half time talk saw more determination from MK in the second half. They had more opportunities to score but not enough passion to scrap for every ball. The defence absorbed the pressure of a succession of short corners. Sam Gorman making her debut for MK was the deserved man of the match. MK will need to learn from this game for the matches ahead.
Final score MK 3s 1- Wallingford 3
