Milton Keynes 2s 1 - 2 Gerrards Cross 1s

Ladies 2s met at 11 at Gerrards Cross (GC) the week, 3rd weekend away on the trot. The pitch was sandy and the side lines weren't straight. Ideal.

First half was end to end hockey. MK were calm transferring the ball round the back between Janet, Charlotte and Vikki, utilising the wings to attack. Mally and Sofie working together to double team any balls coming through the middle.
Unfortunately a quick turnover caught MK off guard and and an ugly zone ball was into our goal. Half time 1-0 to GC.

Milton Keynes came on second half determined to change the score line. Lana PLANTed a strike, which Gibbo tapped in for glory. With this sort of coalition, War was inevitable.
Milton Keynes continued to attack. After 7 or so fouls on Sofie in the D at one point MK became sassy from any of the umpires decisions. "HELLLOOOOOO". Fortunately 7th time lucky MK were finally awarded that short corner.

Milton Keynes started to be impudent and cards resulted. Not a highlight of our game, particular as GC got another ugly goal. Final score 2-1 to GC.
