This week the Ladies 2s travelled to Windsor some arriving more stressed than others. The team aren't ready to talk about Susan Watkins diverted route to get there.
The match was delayed which Milton Keynes used to their advantage with a thorough warm up #JogItOut.
The team had their game faces ready at the whistle. Unfortunately Milton Keynes heads went down as there were many unjust decisions but we can't always blame the umpires...........
At the start of the game the umpires said they wouldn't tolerate any bad behaviour so the teams couldn't believe it and tested them. After a foul shove on Trish O'Rourke we couldn't believe the umpires didn't notice. We were incredulous at this. In other words we couldn't believe the umpires believed that the opposition believed it wasn't foul play and we would believe them. Unbelievable I know.
Reading were first to score. And second to score. But Milton Keynes battled back and before the half time whistle, Francesca Head won Milton Keynes a short corner. 2-1. Trish got the tap in - you hero.
Second half was unfortunately not a strong point for Milton Keynes and although there were many more opportunities created, but Windsor were more successful in their attacks. 5-1 Windsor. You are ours in MK.
