Dave Breuilly's modelling days were cut short as MK beat table topping Banbury 5-3.

Captain fantastic, as Breuilly likes to call himself, will no longer be able to rely solely on his looks from now on after wearing a ball in the face.

His cameo in Zoolander 2 has been canceled and his photoshoot for GQ has been called off.

Anyway, some hockey happened.

MK were really good and applied pressure on the league leaders from the off.

This paid off when Martin Kavanagh bagged his first of the day with a drag flick that was so powerful the Banbury keeper could only parry it into the net. OOOSH!

Stuff then happened and it was 1-1. Bad times.

MK pushed to regain the lead and a swift attack saw a shot parried by the keeper right into the middle of Dave Breuilly's mush. He may end up with a jazzy Harry Potter scar. Expelliarmus!

From the resulting short corner MK did a goal, but sadly I was leading Breuilly off the pitch so didn't see it. Apparently it was excellent from Toby King who roofed it.

More stuff happened and it was 2-2. Darn!

The home side showed their bouncebackability and regained the lead straight from the off. I have to admit that last night I went to a wedding and so my memory has been affected. I think Martin Kavanagh scored. I am sure it was lovely too.

Half time happened. Then the game restarted, as it tradition.

Banbury flew out of the traps and upped their game. They equalised for the third time.

MK weren't happy about this, so they took the lead again.

Russel Brazier snaffled a goalkeeper's clearance and backwhacked the ball into the bottom corner.

The home side then gave themselves a two goal buffer. Kavanagh completed his hattrick after volleying in a 'cross' by Jack Luther who wanted to give the striker a challenge.

There was time for Lewis Jobbling to get a yellow card, but that was about it. It finished 5-3.Yay!
