Martin asked me to send this out to everyone. Probably because he did so well today...
Milton Keynes were left to rue missed chances in a disappointing 1-1 draw away at Wokingham.
The game, which was as cold and dreary as the weather failed to get going in the early minutes with neither team creating many chances.
With both sides wary of the other it was a cagey affair until MK managed to take the lead.
Striker Dave Breuilly was on hand to deflect a cross into the back of the net, leaving the keeper no chance.
This didn't last long though and the home side were soon level.
The ball was crashed in and after pinballing between players it crept past the keeper.
Both sides must have been given a telling off at the break as the second half started brighter.
First Wokingham broke well down the left but saw the striker's shot cannon of the post.
The post then came in to play at the other end.
Milton Keynes won a penalty flick after some superb counter attacking, but Martin Kavanagh struck the flick against the post.
Both sides tried to win it in the dying minutes but each defence stood firm and the game finished 1-1.
