Unlike the Lego movie, this didn't have a happy ending...

Upon googling “match report template” I noticed that there was a distinct lack of options, as a result I would be happy to give away 50% equity in return for payment of my subs.

It was a dark a dreary Saturday afternoon, some might say perfect conditions for playing hockey based on the complexion of our somewhat talented ginger players. Despite the weather, fans turned up in their droves including a woman dressed for a disco with a couple of dogs. Even Steve the sausage made an appearance.

MK started the game at a steady pace with controlled passages of play, however this soon changed and MK started to try and force the ball through the middle of the pitch. After a loss of possession OC’s descended on the MK 25 like a pack of American Indians. The ball moved rapidly from left to right and left Nicholas Gage flapping like an upturned turtle.

Coach dad was not a happy bunny after the first half but kept his temper after a couple of Homer Simpson style outbursts from the sidelines and during the chat managed to instil some confidence back in the team.

In the second half MK soaked up the pressure like Spongebob in the shower and Brett “The Bandit” Holland scored a sublime finish to pull one back and the revival looked like it was on despite Mikey “emit” diving at the back post he was unable to convert a decent opportunity. The miss reminds me of numerous clumsy scenes from Star Wars Episode I with Jar Jar Binks unable to complete a simple task. Having said that we still love him.

A somewhat disappointing performance on Saturday, which was further heightened by our generic business man lacking supplies of both pre and post-match milk. Room for improvement but the team know what they need to address to get their first three points. Bring on Staines, a massive game for Ali.
