MK started strong and could have scored in the first 10 minutes. Reading used the long ball, but we kept battling. 0-0 at half time as we brought ourselves to their level.

Second half saw a concerted attack on the Reading goal with Susan W hitting the post for Jess W to pounce on the rebound to slot it passed the keeper on the near right post. MK continued to press forward with the defence pushing forward. Susan used a training practice to creep a second goal across the line, MK now 2-0 up. MK continued to push and the defence repelled some short corners.
