It Hockey’s first steps back for summer of fun!

As the government roadmap out of lockdown progresses and the official guidance for grassroots sport is now available, England Hockey have now confirmed more details of the Return to Play plans for hockey.

From 29 March we will be playing straight to the ‘Play - Step 4’ phase of the original Covid-19 roadmap. This allows local hockey to take place including activities like summer leagues or local matches.

England Hockey’s full guidance has been updated so please make sure you have a read before returning to play to refresh your memories of what we need to do to keep our sport safe. It has been a loooong time since we all last played so lets make sure we do it right straight from the first push back.

This is all available on the Covid Support page of the England Hockey website, along with an FAQ which will be regularly updated and has also been linked in this news article.

Training sessions will be updated on the website along with any fixtures that may get arranged, please also keep in touch with your captain for further information. We will also be in touch regarding summer hockey, so if you haven't already spoken to someone please ask your captain how you can get involved.

We look forward to seeing you all very soon! Until then stay safe!
